Whether you start with Lindy Hop or Charleston doesn’t really matter. Both dances complement each other later, so you can enjoy the social dances to the fullest. At HappyFeet Stuttgart you can choose between couple dance classes or solo dance classes.
Lindy Hop, the classic swing dance, tends to be danced to slower music and provides room for fun and creativity. As the tempo in the music increases, so does the energy in the dance.
Charleston, also known in couple dance as Lindy Charleston, is super complementary to Lindy Hop. If the tempo of the music becomes too fast, the footwork in the Lindy Charleston can be adjusted. Classic figures like Tandem, Hand-2-Hand and Sailor Step are even more fun in the Charleston.
